Re-Em Transportation Services Ltd. is dedicated to the safe operation of our facilities and to the protection of our employees, the public and the environment.

Our Safe Driving Program is based on the fundamentals of defensive driving. A defensive driver is one who realizes that other drivers can and will make driving errors, and is therefore prepared to avoid the accident producing situations caused by these drivers.They are prepared for changes in the road, weather and traffic conditions and therefore, keep their vehicle under constant control.

The regulations and procedures outlined in our safety program and otherwise, are controlled and administered through our Safety Department. A copy of the current program, is designed to create better drivers, and is distributed to all drivers, in all fields, within the company.

Re-Em Transportation Services LTD. is COR Certified

The Certificate of Recognition (COR) in safety is issued to employers who develop and implement health and safety programs that meet established standards. These standards include:

   • Employer policy and management commitment
   • Worker competency and training
   • Hazard identification
   • Hazard control measures
   • Inspection programs
   • Incident reporting and investigation
   • Emergency response planning
   • Program administration
